March and Febuary Newsletter
« on: March 07, 2008, 05:15:51 PM »
ok its been a while since last update, we have 305 themes installed unfortunatley recently alot have been removed from smf theme site and this has forced us needing to remove them here.

There has been alot of changes, the biggest one is in the Themes area in your profile Sleepy has managed to make it look alot better.  If he releases it as a mod or not then thats his choice :)  Thantos is working on the theme selector so that when you change theme it refresjhes back to the page you where on and not take you back to the index.

On staff side the co-owner redone is taking a wee break and should be back shortly.

If you have any comments or suggestions then please do say.

This is an awesome site.  Thanks for all the hard work!  Your themes are great... but I'm one of those people that have to point it out...  a lot is two words.  (I'm sorry, but it's wrong *three* times in the newsletter above :P )

Eeh, if people really want to use the code, I don't mind much. It was just mostly some template tweaks to remove the junk and show pictures in columns.

Though I could make it a little more user friendly so you can change how many images you want per column.

How come you have to remove them from here if they're gone from the SMF theme site?

all themes are installed on here however the download link takes you to the smf theme site so if a theme is removed on there no-one would be able to download it

Certainly wise as a while ago and maybe even still now there is a problem with "ripped" themes. We certainly do not want to get into distributing ripped themes.

of course, themes that break copyright can cause SMF hassle and ourselves legal stance is not to promote such themes and have no association with these people
